DJ, reality star and former sangoma Gogo Skhotheni said she’s giving up traditional healing for the Bible.
The media personality, whose real name is Tumi Motsoeneng, said in a TikTok video that she no longer practices as a sangoma and now wants to open her own church.
“I’m thinking of opening a church because I can preach,” she said. “I’m still gathering ushers, a worship team, keyboard and drums, mics, and someone who will hold my Bible. I’ll send the location when everything is set.”
She said she no longer offers consultations and has stopped using or giving out traditional medicines like isidliso and imbiza.
But it’s not just her words that are making noise online — it’s her outfit too.
In a recent clip, she was seen preaching in a white dress that hugged her BBL curves.

Reactions poured in on X, with one person saying: “Same hustling, different audience. Jiki jiki, buy Holy Water and Graveyard Anointed Oil by Gogo Skhotheni.”
Another added: “She got no shame in her game. Went from ‘siya vuma’ to ‘Jesus is Lord’ in one go... That’s a psychopath!”
Gogo Skhotheni rose to fame on Moja Love’s reality show about traditional healers before becoming a DJ and podcast host.
She said that even though she’s left traditional healing behind, she still believes in and respects her ancestors.
