being kicked out of the Premier Soccer League.
The league claims Royal AM missed matches because they ran out of money. But MaMkhize is fighting back with bank statements.
According to Sunday World, she handed over payment records showing players were paid on 14 February, just days after the league suspended a R2.3-million grant and SARS took action over unpaid tax.
She says the club is still running, and those salaries prove it.
Defender Thabo Matlaba topped the list, pocketing R121,000 for the month. Midfielder Kabelo Mahlasela followed with R93,500, and Shadrack Kobedi earned R80,000.
At the other end of the scale, Mnguni took home just R2,000, with others like Sbanga Zulu (R6,900), Smiso Gumede (R4,950), and goalkeeper Aphile Ngobese (R7,916) also earning much less.
MaMkhize says curator Jaco Venter, brought in by the court over a R200-million SARS debt, made things worse instead of helping.
She’s now asked the Johannesburg High Court to decide on the matter before the season wraps up, with the hearing set for 20 May.
