Self-proclaimed Bhinca Nation president Ngizwe Mchunu has attacked KZN MEC for transport and human settlement, Siboniso Duma, calling him “a failure” who cannot be trusted.

In a video circulating on social media, Mchunu is heard gossiping about Duma with traditional healer Dr 3 Second.

He accused the MEC of making false promises about fixing gravel roads in KZN villages.

“That one is a failure. You can’t trust him at all because he has never kept his promises. That is why we have so many gravel roads in this province. Trust him at your own risk, but he will never do anything for service delivery,” Mchunu said.

Duma could not be reached for comment on the attack.

However, he is not the first leader to be targeted by the controversial Mchunu. He recently attacked IFP leaders and said they are ugly.

He claimed certain leaders in the IFP would not even stand a chance in a modelling contest.

The radio personality also once attacked deputy minister of public works and infrastructure Sihle Zikalala.

His attack on Zikalala was seen as a political ploy against him when he was still chairperson of the ANC in KZN.

Mchunu made headlines in 2021 when he was fighting for former president Jacob Zuma with his Azikhale campaign.

The campaign led to his arrest after it was linked to the unrest that caused billions in damage across the country.
